Personality & Powers.

personality. Ghost was isolated from others for most of her life, and what little contact she had was very limited within the Imperial households she was owned by. She is still adjusting to life as a free woman, so there are many "odd" behaviors that she might display around mundane objects and behaviors that most people take for granted. Ghost is struggling to find her sense of "self" after years of having that stripped away and beaten out of her. Violence is what gives her the greatest release when she is overwhelmed.Ghost is slow to warm up to people and acts out of self-interest. She is quick to protect what little she has for herself, constantly on edge and in fear that someone might try to snatch it from her.Those who take the time to get to know Ghost and earn her trust get to see a much softer side of the assassin. She loves to cook for those she cares about and is quite considerate of their preferences. She is not good with her words; she prefers to express her feelings through giving gifts and spending quality time with her companions.

spectral form. Ghost has the ability to dematerialize her aether while keeping herself tied to the physical plane. This allows her to move through objects and walls. Ghost can mask her aetheric signature while in this state which is a huge boon for stealth missions.
aether cloak. Ghost can temporarily extend this form and cloak multiple people within a short range from herself, shielding them from being spotted. The cloak can also protect her allies from attacks. It consumes a significant amount of energy so she cannot maintain it for long or else she will pass out.
soul sight. Her right eye is infused with the soul of a bitter yokai. This bond allows Ghost to see auras and spirits. While it is not true aethersight, it's very similar. She can toggle her soul sight at will.
enhanced strength. Ghost possesses impressive martial strength and heightened stamina, which has been honed further by her training with Doman shinobi.

  past.    Ghost was born in a remote village within Doma that became occupied by Garlean soldiers. She was forcibly ripped from her home at a young age and fell under the care of a few different "masters" throughout her childhood, being discarded when they were finished toying with her. The Imperials conditioned her to believe her parents sold her into slavery. Ghost was tortured and used for experiments because of her strong aether levels. A failed experiment quite literally cost Ghost her life, albeit for a brief period of time. Through her short stay in the lifestream, she gained unique powers that have earned her the alias that she uses today.One night, Ghost broke free from her Garlean master after stabbing him to death in a murderous rage. She had waited for the perfect opportunity to strike, letting him believe he had completely broken her mind and spirit until he fell right within the palm of her hand. She took the coin he had and fled to the nearest ferry out of Doma.Ghost took up residence in Limsa Lominsa, taking odd mercenary jobs here and there and stealing to survive on the streets. She lived her life in the shadows, cleaning up the city trash and smuggling mysterious cargo to elusive buyers. She'd do anything that earned her enough coin to afford food... which led her to finding Arsenic & Old Lace, a safe haven for criminals.Soon after she joined, she was no longer completely in the dark. Ghost gained valuable friends and contacts who led her to a small clan of Doman refugees hiding out in La Noscea. This small group was made up of the remnants of the Fujimori clan, one that was thought to be completely wiped out during the war. They saw her natural aptitude as a cunning rogue and offered to teach her the way of the shinobi. She left the mafia family for a time and shifted her priority to serving the needs of her clan.  present.    Ghost is part of a Shinobi sisterhood. They conduct missions between La Noscea and Kugane, often times involving the liberation of other Domans and Hingans who were trafficked by slavers. Now that she is longer a slave to Imperials, she has relished in becoming the huntress, spraying the streets with her enemies' blood beneath the cover of darkness. As her sisterhood has no central lord, she is allowed to serve and pledge fealty to other groups. Thus, she also works in the Blackwatch Consulting Company as its Captain.

Even if you have aethersight it is very difficult to catch a trace of her. If you need someone to do a job without attracting attention, she's the right person to call.sweet treats. Ghost hates to admit it, but she has a serious sweet tooth. She tries to hide it but perhaps you notice her at a bakery or you catch her eating a sugary confection that goes against her dark aesthetics & disposition.kitchen witch. The kitchen is Ghost's second home. She quietly observes her companions' likes & dislikes to create dishes that they will love. She bonds more easily with people who have a similar love of food.

  summary.     Omen is Ghost's first love. She is an enigmatic presence, a bird with the ability to twist the strings of fate. She is best described by Ghost as "a little shite with a big heart." They bicker like an old married couple but Ghost is fiercely protective of her.

Dahami Shakeshi

  summary.     Ghost often turns to her lover Dahami for wisdom and guidance, as she has walked the star for hundreds of years and has seen the best and worst of man. She is sweet and quite cuddly... just try to avoid her spikes.

Leonidos Yngling

  summary.     Leo is a patient and kind man whose lifestyle and ways would not seem to match up with Ghost, but opposites attract. They have two homes: Ghost's in the shores of Shirogane, and Leo's in the mountains of Dravania.

Ophelia Liboria

Mentor.

  summary.     Ophelia is Omen's creator. She is a necromancer who is responsible for giving Ghost her vision back in her right eye, along with the ghostly companion that now inhabits it. She is currently teaching Ghost how to work with souls and use magic.

Yumiko S'iona

Sister.

  summary.     Yumiko is a former Garlean slave who was rescued by Ghost. She has since joined her shinobi sisterhood. She lives next to Ghost, who helps Yumiko learn how to live life as a free woman. Most of the time that involves ensuring Yumiko's house doesn't burn down from an instant ramen mishap.
